Planed wood is wood with a smooth, even surface, with or without a spindle, which is produced by a four-sided planer.
The most popular wood products with spindles are indoor and outdoor paneling, which can be fused together with a spindle. Also, wood planed without spindles is widely used, for example for roof decking, fencing, decorative walls or other wood structures and finishes.
Calibration
Calibrated timber is dried timber with precise dimensions, which is mainly used in the construction of timber-framed houses, as it is much easier to construct the frame.
